Toute est Vanité...

or how being down and dirty with the writers can pass a merry moment.


There is a chat going on in the Title Bar about good, bad and indifferent writing.

I just write. I think I couldn't stop doing it, even if I tried. I have the mandatory "book" to my name, a student's guide on "Wuthering Heights" that is now out of print. It helped put bread on my children's table, for which they expressed much gratitude at the time, even though they could not read.

Fiction is beyond me. If you live in a country where every trip on public transport has almost biblical proportions of drama built in, trying to follow... or worse... construct... a plot seems to be conceited in the old fashioned meaning of the word.
