Travel and the Search for Beauty

We spent the weekend in Cork, visiting fine houses and eating ourselves into a dull sense of wellbeing. I sat in the Italian Garden in Fota, thinking of nothing at all.

However, the ever clicking camera recorded the visit with candid clarity and it is worth remembering that, for a Dubliner, Cork is certainly another country.

The fine Stucco work, in this case by the Swiss LaFranchini Brothers, was so fine that I have spent several hours working on tonings that bring the work to life.
